Why switching from Google calendar to Outlook will make you pull all your hair out

I would not believe how different a behavior of a calendar app could be. I’m not asking much, just want to have an intuitive interaction, reliable synchronization, and no unexpected behavior. Outlook calendar provides none of these. Hear of my suffering and how bad Outlook really is compared to the Google Calendar.

The company I work for has recently merged with another company. One of the consequences was that we had to unify the tools we are using. Our company used to work with Google Suite, the other company runs on Microsoft products. It’s without a doubt that it wouldn’t make sense to keep two different ecosystems running and I’m sure there were a lot of factors that needed to be considered for the decision. I believe the decision to continue using Microsoft was the best for the combined company although it was not the best for me personally.
